The “Green Collar Youth Workers” project aims to transform the concept of
sustainability from a purely theoretical notion into a practical competence applicable in the professional world. The five-day training program, designed with an interdisciplinary approach, was delivered by experts from various sectors. The training modules covered a wide range of topics, beginning with the scientific foundations of climate change and environmental crises, and extending to energy efficiency practices, carbon footprint calculation methods, sustainable finance tools, and sector-specific
best practices.
The program featured a hybrid structure aimed at promoting active learning. In addition to theoretical presentations, the training was enriched with interactive discussions, group work, and case studies. At the end of each day, practical evaluation sessions were held to reinforce the acquired knowledge. The training modules were presented under the following main
topics.
